Are you a loyal supporter of The Arts Center? Do you want to see as many of the performances as you possibly
can? Become a member and get exclusive early access to ticket reservations and a ticket to each production. Only
a limited number of memberships are available, so don't miss out.

How to become a member?

Please visit our membership section and select sign up. Individual, dual, and family memberships are
available.

What are the benefits of being a member?

Get Ticket(s) for every performance as follows

  • Single - 1 Ticket for each production (subject to availability)
  • Dual - 2 Tickets for each production (subject to availability)
  • Family - 4 Tickets for each production (subject to availability)
  • Selected fall shows will go on sale collectively on August 29. Additional shows will go on sale 2-3 weeks in advance with early reservations for Members. Selected spring shows will go on sale collectively in January 2019, date tba, with advance onsale for members. Additional shows will go onsale 2-3 weeks in advance with early reservations for members.
  • Discounted guest/companion tickets
  • Preferred access to standby tickets and released tickets for sold out performances.
  • Invitations to exclusive events at The Arts Center, Including artist meet and greets and dinners with
  • artists, backstage tours of the theater and invitations to workshops.

As a member, how do I get tickets to shows?

As a member, you need to log onto our box office system in order for us to recognize your membership. Once
logged on you will see the exclusive members tickets available for the performances presented by The Arts
Center.

What about performances not presented by the Arts Center?

Being a member will get you access to performances, residencies and activities presented by The Arts Center.
Note: Sometimes, The Arts Center hosts events presented by other organizations. These presentations, as
well as private events and some academic events may not be included in the Membership program. We will
advise members if we have been able to arrange for special promotions or discounts for members to these
events.

I want to change my tickets?

We understand that plans sometimes change. If you simply cannot attend please let us know so we
can release your ticket(s) to make them available to someone else in the community who wants to
attend. Members tickets are not transferable. ID may be required along with your tickets.

Can I get tickets for my friend who is coming with me?

As a member you can purchase additional tickets at a discounted rate (the number of additional
discount ticket will depend on membership type).

I am a member and didn’t book a ticket early enough. Now it’s sold out.

The Arts Center maintains a standby line at all performances, to release unclaimed seats just before
the start of a performance. Please notify us if you wish to book a ticket for a sold-out show, and we will
also try to let you know if we get an cancellations/returned tickets, or additional tickets otherwise
become available. Members will also have an express standby line, which will have first access to any
available seats at the door.

Do I get a special reserved seat?

Members are currently eligible for general admission seats only. However, we will have an express
admission line for members who arrive 30 minutes before the performance start time.

How will I know about the special events?

Members will receive weekly newsletters via email with updates and upcoming events.

Can I refund my membership?

Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Where do I sign up for my membership?

Please visit our membership section and select Sign up, You will be asked to select a level (SIngle, Dual,
Family).

How long will it take for my membership to activate?

Please allow up to 24 hours for your membership to activate, if you are still encountering problems please

Do I receive a membership card?

The membership is managed virtually, via our computerized box office system. No membership cards are
required. When you log in to our box office using your ID and password, our system will recognize you as a
member. If you have any issues, please let one of our team know that you are a member and we can look you
up in our records.

My Tickets did not arrive?

If you booked tickets and for some reason they were not received in your inbox or available at the box office,

I did not receive my email confirmation?

If you booked tickets or signed up for membership and for some reason you have not received an email
confirmation, please contact nyuad.boxoffice@nyu.edu or call 02-628-7040.

What to do if you have received a ‘phishing’ email?

The Arts Center will never ask in an email for your bank details or for you to make payment for tickets or
otherwise (outside of our box office system). We use a secure website for all financial transactions. If you have
received an email asking for payment, it is likely to be a ‘phishing’ email. Phishing is an online scam that
targets large numbers of email addresses often using a known brand to persuade people to part with their
money. Please let us know if you receive such a request, so we can investigate and protect others.
