Public Theater’s Under the Radar (UTR) Global Partner program

The Arts Center is proud to be a part of the Public Theater’s Under the Radar (UTR) Global Partner program. Over the last 17 years, UTR has been an important source of inspiration and discovery for the performing arts field globally. Since The Arts Center launched, its programming has been enriched by artists and projects first encountered at UTR, including Octavia E. Butler’s Parable of the Sower by Toshi Reagon, Tania el Khoury, 600 Highwaymen, and Cartography.

In these days of the Covid-19 pandemic, when all of us are so isolated, it is important to acknowledge the community of organizations that keep contemporary performance alive. Check out the other partners and support your local organizations here. Check out their lineup and RSVP to see any of this free festival’s programming featuring: 600 Highwaymen’s A Thousand Ways: A Phone Call (co-commissioned by The Arts Center) and Inua Ellams’ Borders & Crossings. See the info on these below.

Visit the UTR website for other performances such as Alicia Hall Moran’s The Motown Project and. Javaad Alipoor’s Rich Kids. All UTR performances are offered free of charge.
